Geocaching is a modern form of paper chase and a worldwide widespread hobby, which has gained more and more in the last years. GPS receivers are set up to find the so-called geocaches, which can be hidden in the forest, along the dirt roads and in the city. A geocache is usually a watertight container, in which you find a logbook as well as various items of exchange. After logging into the logbook, the geocache is hidden in place again. There are a lot of official caches with different degrees of difficulty. Geocaching with NaTourWissen does not use official caches, but only custom-made caches. And these caches or puzzle stations are connected by us through the game sequence to a treasure search, which leads the participants at the end of their varied search as a reward to a treasure chest.
We present here this modern paper chase with GPS devices as an open offer for everyone to get to know this kind of treasure hunt on selected dates in the summer.
